Last semester I had Joseph Mazzaferro for Advertising and he had worked on the Absolut campaign for several years...
Absolut wants to sell their product to countries all over the world, and India would not allow any alcohol advertisements, so they needed a way around it. They made this short film as their 'advertisement' to be shown in movie theaters during the previews.

By the way, there was a contest to see who could see the most Absolut bottles during the film, but I can't remember how much there actually were!
